CUNNINGHAM (nee Mayfield) Brian and Kath Diamond Anniversary We are celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday 25th June. I wrote this poem to celebrate: 'I Remember 1955' I Remember 1955, that's the year we used to jive. Down at the Empress and Astoria too. That's the year we said 'I do'. St Mary's church Arnold our wedding took place, me all dressed up in satin and lace. My husband Brian bless his heart, and his mohair box suit on, oh he did look smart. Our wedding guests we arranged to meet, at the conservative hall down front street. After we had a bit of a doo, off to Devon we went with just we two. To spend our honeymoon we'll never forget, and after 60 years we're together yet. Yes, I Remember 1955, when down at the barn we used to jive. That's the year we had a bit of a doo, that's the year we said 'I do'. Kath Cunningham
